I am willing to pay higher bills if it means the support for Ukrainians can continue or increase, as they are literally dying for freedom.

However, I do realize I am in a good financial position that allows me to be able to absorb the extra costs.
So stupid that they don’t just lower the price, but instead take the skim and redistribute it.
Subsidizing energy use makes things worse when the problem is a shortage of energy. It just drives energy prices higher.
Focus should be on reducing consumption and rationing
