People who protest over constructing public transport rather than people jumping in a car have the wrong priorities
vironmental protesters said HS2 “would hammer another nail into the coffin of the climate crisis”.
Say what?! An electric train. Public transport. What are they smoking?
There are certainly arguments to be had over routing, cost and contractors fleecing the public purse, but climate?
Good stuff, the protests have done nothing but delay it and cost us more and more money. All because they don’t want cleaner transport in their back yards.
The only protesters i can sympathise here are people having thier properties demolished the big downside of building new rail or road
The rest calling high speed trains running on electric wires not eco friendly have a screw loose
NIMBYs & Tories are going to forever ensure British infrastructure is some of the worst in W Europe
Good. Every infrastructure project should be automatically covered by injunctions like these.
