The organisation/sport has a serious discipline problem. My young son is on the brink of quitting football and both my wife and I agree we won’t be trying to change his mind. Plenty of other activities out there where respect and decency is shown to officials, coaches and team mates. Don’t want my children in that environment where this carry on is acceptable.
The solution to this stuff is very simple.
Any adult assaulting or threatening a referee is banned from participating in GAA permanently.
Anyone under 18 is banned until they are 18 and then given one more chance.
