[national peatlands park petition](https://www.change.org/p/support-the-proposal-for-the-national-peatlands-park) I don’t know how this hasn’t got traction yet. It is so important to help stop climate change AND our culture. Bogs are part of who we are. We should cherish them. Please read the statistics on how much carbon they can store if left to rewild and not cut, it is amazing to say the least.

I’m a bit ignorant but what about Ballycroy National Park or whatever it’s called now? I agree with converving the wetlands in the midlands and everywhere else, but why do we need another national park there? I don’t agree with needing tourists to support our conservation efforts. To be honest, the less people the better, but I understand that they bring money.
ffs chnage.org doesn’t work here.
Isn’t this what Lough Boora is?
What’s the actual thing you are looking to achieve with the petition?
The description looks vague and doesn’t describe what you are looking to achieve
