This is crazy, two young men who would have had their whole lives ahead of them.
One now dead, the other in jail.
Very little details about the murder, both Sky and BBC articles give pretty much no context or info beyond the stabbing itself. I wonder what was the cause.
There was an r/AskUK question yesterday about what a child should do if they were getting bullied and the answers were all “fight back” followed by “nah, stabbings only happen if it’s gang warfare”
Then this happened today…
16 years old is NOT a child.
Punishment must fit the crime.
He didn’t fight and broken another bloke’s nose. They weren’t having a knife fight to call it a young lads’ brawl either.
He took a life out of rage, and after well planning it, innit?
Let’s take his too.
I definitely would have arranged a ‘meet and greet’ for the moment he is released from the prison if it was my kid bled to death in fear and pain.
Life should mean life, at 16 you know what you’re doing with a knife not a little kid anymore
