Well balls anyway. Happy Sunday to me.

  1. Reminder that most people’s insurance has breakdown assistance which will cover this, in case you can’t / don’t want to change it yourself, or your car doesn’t have a spare.

A lot of people still don’t realise they have it, or avoid as they think it will affect NCB, which it doesn’t.

  2. If you’ve a spare that’s easy enough to deal with. If you don’t, though, then it’s a bit harder.

If you use one of those fix-a-flat spray things to seal it long enough to drive to the tyre shop, just remember to tell the lads there about it.

  3. What you want to do is open the valve and let the wind inside! Just hold it with your finger for awhile

  4. You got a lighter port compressor pump? Last time I had a flat tyre a pump up with the compressor was enough to get me to a garage for puncture repair.
