If it’s not codified, it’s not a constitution, unwritten or otherwise.
I hope that he keeps speaking out about climate issues, in fact I hope he gets louder.
He is in a really unique position, he doesn’t need anyones support to continue in his role as king. So he can call out government for not doing enough, he can call out big businesses for not doing enough and he can call out other countries.
His CO2 output over the course of a week absolutely eclipses the output of everyone in this thread combined over a year.
It’s said that wanting to survive on our planet is now political.
Everyone here wants him to speak out, I want him to stay neutral. Just imagine if he waded into more controversial topics like nationalisation or transgender issues.
Environmental protection is essential and beyond party politics.
Co2 hysteria is most definitely politically motivated and not helpful for the nation or it people.
The constitution of beer; he’d be sued because he’s not an indian pale ale?
Because it’s tricky for him, I _hope_ he just sets a super-green example for all the rich who aspire to be like royalty. Change all royal cars to EVs, insulate the shit out of royal buildings, move off of gas, give the HRH endorsement only to products with reduced packaging, solar panels all over Buckingham Palace, avoid air travel etc. Probably wishful thinking though.
