why they are doing this in Poland, they make it seems to be a feature, yikes.

  1. They are giving you an option you may or may not decide to use. How daring of them!!

  2. I like to tip if it’s crap weather and/or the delivery is fast. Sometime I don’t have cash or change, and I can also be slightly embarrassed handling money sometimes, so I appreciate this option actually.

  3. I would rather prefer them to earn a decent salary, even if a delivery would cost more.

  4. Why not? I usually do not tip, but during quarantine i craved some beer like a mf. It was raining outside at 9PM during cold dark autumn evening.

And instead of random young or middle aged person here was tiny babcia giving me cans of beer and apologizing for delay.

I felt like a such an asshole and left her a huge tip, because noone does this job unless they absolutely have to.

  5. This has been available on all deliv apps for the last 1 or 2 years

  6. Its a good option to have. I like to tip the delivery people if the weather sucks, its late at night or a special occasion. Be nice to people

  7. the worst part is you can only tip when placing the order. I’ll happily tip a bit if the delivery is fast, reliable and the little interaction with the courier is nice, but not before. if i tip in advance what’s the incentive for the courier to be professional?

  8. I tip well in Poland because I’m fortunate to be able to on $ salary – I like their hustle and couriers are usually upbeat and positive. Also most of the time it’s young folks so want give them something extra to help them get started. Hopefully they become meaningful contributors and producers to our society and we all benefit in the end – that’s how I basically justify my tipping

  9. Every tip system on food delivery I’ve used has gone 100% to the courier. As a courier, it’s much more convenient to not carry cash. Especially when you’re on a bike.

  10. If you wanna tip, tip them in cash. I’m sure that Bolt is taking its (un)fair share and we really don’t need more corporations stealing our money.

  11. In Poland it’s not that if you don’t tip you are a bad person, in Poland people who get tips are most often people who either deserve it or asked for it, if you have a way to impress someone you may get a few tips

This notification is probably here, so if you’ll want to tip the courier then that’s the moment to do so

  12. I saw stickers on a UK inter-city coach that said tips for the driver are welcome.

    What phone are you using?

  13. Please foe the love of God do not let tip culture become normal in Poland like it is in the U.S.

  14. Because they do not want to pay them well, better if you tip them, so they can justify paying them shit… just like with any tips…
