This was an I’ll thought out plan simply to get a positive sound bite with no actual understanding or thought on how it could be implemented. With GP numbers lower than they have been for at least a decade this has actually made things worse.
Fuck 7 day access, I just want to be able to make an appointment without having to get up early and sit for 20 minutes in a phone cue. It’s gotten so ridiculous that I can’t even make an appointment in person – I get told I can only do it by phone, by the very same person who answers the phones.
More pointless soundbites that fail to look at the actual problem.
