  1. They tried to make Halloween happen in the 90’s early 2000’s to give us more time for Christmas. It didn’t stick, so now it’s straight from Back To School to Christmas.

  2. In a somewhat similar observation I’ve noticed that, while the weather remains balmy, people have already broken out their winter gear: padded coats, hoods with (synthetic) fur, &c.

  3. My problem is when I think it’s too soon, and later move to get decorations (it was a Christmas tree last year, 😂); the selection is either too expensive or unavailable.

    So I’m torn while also looking for Christmas tree lights.

  4. Well, supermarkets got rid of Halloween because nobody cared and we don’t have thanks giving so they have to start early with Christmas. But you’re right, I hate that. In my mind it’s still summer.
