I’m not sure if it was that exact set, maybe a cheap knock off.
Fuck yeah
Ye. And I had a CHiPs set too. Used to use a big of cardboard clipped on to my bike with a clothes peg to make noise on the back wheel of my bike. 20 of us going around the housing estate like Eric Estrada.
Holy shit! I definitely remember rockin around with that Knife on a Saturday morning and a school tie around my head!
My brother had a real Rambo knife as a kid. Thinking on it now, that probably shouldn’t have been possible.
Yeah, used to love playing playing a game of battle scared ptsd’d maniac, Ahhhhh simpler times……….
It somewhat ironic how Rambo went from social commentary about the dark side of war and the treatment of PTSD stricken vietnam vets to marketing plastic guns and knives to tots.
I wasn’t allowed it. Dad was a firm believer that a gun wasn’t a toy.
Running round with that toy gun in Derry in the 80s would have put you on the list to be ended by a soldier or cop who mistook it for being real. So that was a big, no.
Something similar, but was for Halloween. Bought in a 2 euro shop and got all that but the pistol wasn’t at all real. I think it was painted blue with the red barrel.
I fucking wish
Mine had real matches , a fishhook and line packed intot the end of the knife as well, the radio was a fake but we nagged the parents long enough they got us a real 2 way one which we used to abuse passing truck drivers and whoever happend to use the frequency at the time
No but I remember seeing it in the newsagents that used to be beside Tesco in Phibsborough when I was a kid.
Finglas back to school set
I remember being told to come in as playtime was over …. I pointed my plastic knife and screamed “NOTHINGS OVER”
Had this, got upgraded to a spud gun after
Only kids who never fought a battle they couldn’t win!
Yeeeeees. Lasted about 5 mins until the big wanker nextdoor stole it
Mise 🤚🏻
