Very skinny man in my apartment complex died while retrieving his car keys from a sewer pit. He removed the iron cover, dived in head first and was found with just his feet sticking above the pit. Very weird way to go.
Not to nitpick, but technically the title isn’t 50 year old, but “man in his fifties” (he was 53 years old).
That said, thank you for translating the title, OP. I am Flemish, but I love how r/Belgium does most in English so foreigners and people across the language border can easily understand what we’re talking about. It’s a relatively unique feature of a subreddit of a non native English country, and I love it. Just feels more inclusive that way.
