The youth ticket (and I assume senior ticket as well) is the same price for a journey to any location in belgium. It´s actually €6,6 without the extra airport ticket cost.
Apparently it’s the new cool to shit on belgium. Before you do that, you might wanna read the conditions that apply though… Try to simulate going from brussel to oostende and compare prices again.
Right now the gates at the airport train station are often open. Do with that information what you want 🙂
