Hello all,
There is this Persian song done by a group of Kurdish communists during 79-81. I was told the melody might be originally Bulgarian and then adapted to make the song with.
I would appreciate it if you could give it a listen and see if it could resemble any folk Bulgarian melodies?

My humble opinion is that, it does not resemble traditional bulgarian folklore.
It does sound somewhat familiar, can’t say for sure
I agree that those kinds of melodies are not typical for Bulgarian folklore, so it would be unlikely. That kind of “bump-a bump-a”, 1-2 rhythm is also unusual.
The closest thing I can think of is [this style of songs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaheV0blbdw), but I’m not sure they count as folklore. I have heard them referred to as Dalmatian songs so maybe try asking in the Croatian sub, they have music that sounds more similar.
Honestly it most reminds me of American old school country.
Doesn’t sound like bulgarian folk song at all. Maybe it has some greek elements in its core, but the melody must be totally reworked (into somehow latino or caribbean thing?).
It could be hungarian, but I am not familiar with their folklore.
