I have a question regarding the Bafög, given the last reform they made, in July 2022, I can’t find an exhaustive answer to my question on the internet and maybe some of you have been through it.

So, in September of next year I will be in Germany and for the first year I will come there as a full-time worker.
In September of the following year I will begin my studies at a university in Berlin and would like to know if it would be possible to apply for the Bafög.
On the school website it says that to meet the Bafög criteria I must have worked in Germany for at least 3 months and that during my studies I will have to continue working at least 12 / 14h a week.
Have any of you managed to take the Bafög even without the 5 years of residence in Germany but still working those 12 / 14h a week?
Here in the Netherlands where I am currently it works like this, if you haven’t lived here for at least 5 years you can get student aid by working 56h a month.
Can this also be done in Germany?
I don’t see my father since I was 5 years old and my mother has a very low income. I’m living alone and working full time for more than 5 years now.

Is very difficult to find a correct information, some people and websites says that I can’t get bafög if I’m not in Germany from 5 years or my parents have worked there and some says that I can get it with the exception of working 12/14h a week so I really don’t know what to think.

I am attaching the links where I found this information.

Thanks in advance 🙂
