Same shit that always happens in Russia: They were never bought, because every level of the bureaucracy said to buy slightly less to the next and pocketed the rest – and all 3 uniforms that actually got made with the money intended for this are now in the ground in Ukraine.
They never existed in the first place.
I doubt the Soviet Union was any more scrupulous.
Having MPs that are also generals at the same time definitely makes Russia seem like a legitimate country, for sure.

These uniforms never existed; the selling company paid a fat…”bonus” to the government big wig to write in the ledger that they bought more uniforms than they did, while paying the full amount to the seller as if they did buy the number of uniforms in the ledger.
Also did anyone actually check the price of each uniform? Pretty sure that unless Armani made them, the price is much higher than it should be as well.
