For you Irish who wonder about the grass being greener on the other side. I used to live, rent free, in one of these houses on the island of Tobago 🇹🇹 and I left because corruption and crime was too much for my liking. I know that times are hard, but most of you are very lucky to come from Ireland. Stay strong, if you can and look for the silver linings.

Oh man, you think this is bad? Have you seen the Scotland reddit?
Its better to at least do it. You will either go somewhere and then go ‘actually Ireland wasn’t THAT bad’. Scratch that. You *inevitably* think like that after a while abroad. But ultimately you take the positives with the negatives. But its better than to remain in Ireland forever and think “What if?” in my mind. It eats away at you when others go to Australia, UK, USA, Asia and Europe.
