Hey y’all, I wanted to ask a question about immigration for those that have gone through, or know those who have. I used the search bar but couldn’t find anyone asking this question specifically so here it goes. If I get a job offer in, say, Software Engineering or Data Science, does a math degree (BA) count as an appropriate qualification (link for blue card: [https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/de/visum-aufenthalt/arten/blaue-karte-eu](https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/de/visum-aufenthalt/arten/blaue-karte-eu))? If it means anything, the Data Science jobs I checked specifically asked for Math/Physics grads. For the record, I don’t have any job experience so I wouldn’t qualify for the visa where you skip university degree. I’m American at an American Uni btw!
