I often wonder how parents contain their rage if faced with something like this.
They need to stop posting pictures and the name of the guy who did it. He admitted in court he did it just so he could get in the news and be (in)famous. He’s probably fapping away knowing ITV are talking about him again.
Anyone else read this headline as though a teenager with improving sight threw a boy from the Tate?
Story was very much covered up. The little monobrowed gimp that threw the child was yelling pro-Brexit stuff, and the child was of course French and had been speaking French with his family.
Very recognizable face though. I’m sure when he gets released he won’t like being so well known, especially after the first few hospitalizations.
The square-faced guy looks kinda like Arby from Utopia.
I always think about how you normally you never hear updates like this one. You hear about a crime and then if there are no convictions the media won’t report that. You hear about “this crazy thing might happen!” and if it doesn’t happen they never come out and say “it didn’t happen”. Likewise you rarely hear about the aftermath of crimes or a victim’s recovery (it’s not long ago the media only reported stabbings through the lens of “did someone die?”, ignoring that there are effects of incidents beyond just “did he die though?”).
Kid must be 9 years old now, his academic and social life are clearly so different than what they would have been. Glad he’s at least getting support and still making somewhat of a recovery or whatever the right word is (riding a tricycle, dressing himself with clothes that don’t require as fine motor skills, walking with a cane a little). His life experiences and struggles are so far from normal, but hopefully he can be as happy as normal (or better than that!) as his life continues.
