Hello, again!
A while ago I made a post about visiting Budapest and you guys were VERY helpful!! ❤️
So, I want to ask about this route.
We want to go to the Balaton lake, the North side prefferably because I heard the South coast is flat and I already live in a flat country (🇱🇻🫣).
Google maps says this is a good route and it does look comfortable but I want to know what you guys think!
! AND where can we get tickets for these transports and how much per person it is?
And the starting point is near our AirBnb. I guess it isn’t really Inner City but it’s close. 😁
Any tip and answer will be helpful!
Thank you. 😇

Yes.
…?
Unless a lot has changed in the 8 years since I left , Tapolca is on the northern coast meaning you would either end up on the wrong coast or would need to change at Szekesfehervar station.
The best way is to spend a bit more on an intercity ticket that takes you directly to your destination which also spares yoh nedding to spend time at stations where people barely understand you or not at all.
If I had reliable data I would have made a language desert map (as in places where people only speaks the local language or refuse to speak other languages even if they can) a very long time ago.
The North side is beautiful, the best places I’ve been is Tihany and Badacsony (it’s a gorgeous mountain in the middle of the north side). One of the best and most approachable view if you don’t want to go uphill is Szépkilátó in Balatongyörök.
