Horse steaks? Really ?! I mean, as my granddad used to say correctly: You don’t put a saddle on a horse, but kräuterbutter…
Also half the countries seem to find it disgusting that somebody else would eat blood pudding, sausage or rice, while slurping on a tasty blood soup themselves…
From the ethical/cultural point of view, horse steak might be bad. But whoever made this map, have you ever eaten a horse steak ? shit’s good
Deep fried pizza is actually good idk how
Is the “liver paste” from Denmark the same as the swiss “Le Parfait” ?
Tripe soup is awesome, if it’s prepared correctly, perfect hangover dish.
Most things here sounds delicious.
(I only tried about half and they were all great. Well, except for Nestlé).
When did Sicily gain independence?
Out of everything on that map, Nestlé is the most horrifying thing, by a fucking mile.
I’d gobble down an entire plate of blood pudding, bathe in tripe soup, or chow down on some tasty salted pig fat before I ever intentionally purchased anything from fucking Nestlé.
I love the fall and winter season because that means I can eat Blut- und Leberwurst again.

I like the Casu Martzu refrence on Sardegna though. From my experience, it has a quite nice taste for a cheese…
Blood and tounge sausage is the tits, though! Y’all need to eat more organ meat!
lots of people eat stuff made from blood 😅
r/fuckNestle
TRIPE SOUP apparently includes all of ex-Yugoslavia plus Romania and Bulgaria. Maybe they should have included Ticino too, because of Busecca (which is delicious.)
Deep fried pizza is a speciality from neapel and it’s amazing!
Pizza fritta napoletana
Tripe soup is actually absolutely scrumptious, nothing wrong with it
WTF for Scotland it should be haggis! Deep fried Pizza does not sound thaaat bad.
Obligatory fuck Nestle.
Europe sure loves blood dishes
Salted pig fat from Ukraine… kinda want to try. Italian lardo is basically that, cured, and it’s amazing.
Why is lard bad?
Isn’t lutefisk some sort of marinated hareng as well?
As a Scot, I can testify to the unadulterated glory that is the deep fried pizza. I grew up on them 😁
I just want to know who the first person was who ate old ass fermented fish and went “You know what?? This shit is lit!!! We need to make it a delicacy!”
Horse steaks, per favore.
Everything else sounds bottom of the barrel or outright disgusting.
China: “Hold my beer”
Only yesterday, my wife was reminiscing about the deep fried pizzas of her youth.
It was just after I discovered some deep fried Oreos, which should probably become the new horror for England.
Im confused. Is this what natives from the country think is culinary horror of their country, or what other people think is a dish originating from that country that foreigners consider to be culinary horror. Or is it what natives think foreigners consider to be culinary horror from the natives country?
How is ortolan not the top answer for France? Pressed duck is pretty damned tame.
UK is kinda boring tbh, almost every european country has blood pudding in some form.
Also wtf is horror about horse meat??
Dressed Herring sounded kind of ok
Then I googled it…
The pickled herring was actually good. Used to eat it quite often. The icelandic rotten shark tasted like old urine and eminated from my sweat and pores for several days.. had to explain myself to my coworkers.. happily vegan since
Thank god they dont know the true horrors of swiss cuisine
“Dressed herring? That doesn’t sound like a big deal” (googles, throws up a little)
