Hmmm, cutting benefits by increasing in line with earnings and not inflation while those on much higher earnings get tax cuts. I really fear for those who are less well off. I really struggle to understand how a responsible government can even consider such a move, but since when have the Tories understood and practiced fairness?
We are heading towards a UK revoloution. The UK has managed to avoid one but the tories seem hell bent on starting one. The rich poor divide is already at breaking point. When people in full time low wage jobs need food banks to survive, start defaulting on bills and start loosing their homes due to high interest rates there will be a revolt by the people. It wont be peaceful protests. Working class will target the super rich neighbourhoods. Cars and homes will be destroyed until the Tories realise the poor outnumber the rich. Parliment is there to serve all the people not just the rich!
Liz Truss was elected not by the public but by under 200,000 rich people in the Tory party. She is not a legit prime minister elected by the people. She has no mandate from the people and seems to be hell bent on destroying the UK.
Lizz Truss must go and fast!
You can guarantee that parachute payments and pensions for MP’s along with living expenses etc wont be touched in any reforms as we are not all in it together.

I really hate this thinking. Pensions should be cost neutral if the Government didn’t spend contributions taken today for tomorrow’s pensions. I understand the demands of cashflow but don’t rob people of their money saying its for their own future then complain that giving it back is a problem.

The only way their scraping exploitative strangling and stifling economy can work is is if the many have some money to spend, seeing as the economy is partly a confidence trick and partly a measure of money movements. Unfortunately people like her want to act like big and powerful ones who know how it all works and don’t care about the damage because they’re so well insulated. They’re a shit show that insults its audience. 3.2/10 on iMDb.

I mean, the Conservatives never like doing anything for poor/disabled people, and have always showed their disdain for us. They would rather us be poorer off and force us to work than give us the proper income/support we need, because we’re just a economic “burden” that needs to be cut.
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer; I hate it when Conservatives are elected in any country…
This lot don’t even need Cameron’s disgusting “benefit scrounger” rhetoric to justify going after some of the most vulnerable people in society, they’ll just get on and do it with a smile.
So the aim is for no NHS, no social services, no benefits, no environmental protections and no workers’ rights under this government essentially.
She carries on like this much longer and she`ll be gone by Christmas.
