Global peace index has a lot of shortcomings though, it’s not a measure of peace, it’s a measure of pacifism, because it also rates as negative things like military expenditures, military exports, stationing of troops abroad, troop numbers etc. This is why no.1 is a country that literally has no military, no. 2 a country with a tiny military and no. 3 a neutral country again.
It’s also often cited as a proof of Czechia’s superiority to multicultural countries in “safety” case of which I invite those making the claims to go with me on a trip to Vienna, Austria.
Czechia is a great country, our problem is comparison with our closest neighbours – Germany and Austria.
But they were not fucked by the Soviets for 40 years, so the comparison is unfair.

To že je to tady bezpečný neznamená, že to není shithole. Kvůli práci jezdím všude možně, ale vždycky, když se po delší době vrátím a jsem na nákupu v lidle/bille/albertu, tak se napřiklad dost divím tomu jak jsou lidi nasraný a nepříjemný, hlavně na kase….
