Record number of nurses quitting the NHS

  1. It’s almost as if you just invested in healthcare workers it wouldn’t result in experienced and desperately needs professionals leaving

  2. No shit, it’s common knowledge they do a difficult job which requires years of experience for shit pay and keep getting pay cuts.

They can easily quit their job and get better quality of life elsewhere.

  3. So many of us have retrained in an entirely different field

Not even like we have gone to work for a private or agency company…. we have literally left the sector, not just the NHS

  4. The government have taken the piss out of them for far too long, can’t blame anyone who doesn’t want to remain in that profession.

Remember when we paid them in claps? Jesus.

  5. “those going on maternity are classed as leavers”

Why? That is absolutely nothing to do with what this data was supposed to be discussing. Some areas of my trust have 20% of their nursing staff on maternity leave (generally maternity where it’s almost 100% female staff).

I don’t disagree the NHS is a tough place at the moment, but that alone completely skews this
