Hello everyone. I just moved to Helsinki from Scotland using this van and probably some time next week I will be driving this van down to southern Poland to drop it off.

It’s a private van so I can’t offer any commercial transport service, so I will be going empty. And so I thought since I am going that way anyway, and I will have at best few of my own items on it, perhaps I could help if some organisation is sending donations or something for Ukraine.

This van has approx 1000 kg payload but it’s the largest one there are, so plenty of space.

I am going to Wrocław, but I can swing by Eastern Poland where the logistic centres for Ukraine are, like Zamość, Rzeszów or Przemyśl etc. (From what I know most deliveries from Europe are going there and are picked up by volunteers or Ukrainian transport companies from there for onward travel). I’ll cover fuel and ferry costs since I am going anyway and I can take one person with me (the van has only two seats).

If someone can help me by directing me to some charities of NGOs that are sending stuff to Ukraine, I would be grateful.

Also: we have a dishwasher, about a year old. We packed it before we learned that there is one in the flat we are moving into, if there are some Ukrainian refugee families here in Helsinki who could need it, I can donate it as well.
