I like to play devils advocate, particularly on this sub. I’m not averse to challenging the group think. But for the first time in my time on reddit I can find no redeeming qualities in Truss, her cabal and her policies. Nothing. And it’s the same everywhere. Even some of the Tories I know who would vote for them even if put an amoeba up for election are done, saying the way to regain credibility is with Starmer. It’s that fucking bad. I am incandescent with rage at this fucking dim witted bitch. And she looks like she smells of dried piss.
Everyone is being so unreasonable! We don’t know for sure that she doesn’t have a magical money tree, so there’s still hope!!
Credibility is hard won, and when lost is lost forever. There is no path for Truss, economically or politically. She is dead in the water. The question is how long it will take for the party to dump her twitching corpse, and thereby how long the country will have to suffer.
Alternatively, how long will the country be prepared to suffer before civil action forces a GE.
