No. The only thing Ireland has that is comparable to Denmark is the cost of living. Everything else is worse.
I’ve left my we’en out in the front garden if she’s fallen asleep on a walk, but I probably wouldn’t abandon them in the woods like that…

If you leave your baby outside in ireland it is presumed tht you want rid if it, like broken washing machines and old mattresses and someone will come and collect it within the week.
This tradition dates back to the early 1600’s.

In Ireland I wouldn’t worry about someone stealing my daughter, I’d be more concerned about coming out to get her and finding a group of fawning old women screaming in her face and pinching her cheeks – she wouldn’t get a minutes rest for em!
