Does anyone know how long it takes for parking infringement ticket reference number to become active in the police system? Is it from the moment it is issued? The reason I ask is that I’m unable to pay online as the code is not recognised in the system. It ends with “.82” but the dot is not accepted in the field on [guichet.lu/at](https://guichet.lu/at) When I try without the dot and without the .82 it’s also not working. It’s a ballache to have to visit a cop shop to pay a ticket for forgetting to use my parking disc (stupid me is minus €24 for that). Ticket was issued around 5pm yesterday.

Try leaving out the dot? Dunno, can’t legally drive here, but good luck
I am not even sure my self I parked on an electric car spot at Bettembourg gare because there were no other spots and there are like 30 electric car spots for some reason that are like always free and the alps have me a 24€ Ticket but I think that it’s either directly or within a 24 hour Period
Have you tried using a comma instead of a dot? While Anglo Saxon countries use commas for separating thousands and dots for decimals many European countries do the reverse.
Isn’t there a QR code at the bottom that you can use with DigiCash?
I paid a ticket myself last week and it was done in 5 seconds.
You are trying to pay by credit card. Isn’t there an IBAN so that you can pay by regular wire transfer?
