Hello! I’m a guy who just moved to St. Gallen, I don’t know many things around here, today I was on a trip with bike to Appenzell; Do you have any recommendations where to go with bike from St Gallen, 30km max in the surroundings and the road to be accessible not many climbing because I have a semi runner bike and it’s kinda hard to climb big hills.   1. Anything to the north of the city shouldn’t involve too much climbing, and you get nice views of both Lake Constance and the Alpstein/Säntis. Like towards Häggenschwil or Waldkirch

  4. by bike, i can recomend Romanshorn, Horn, Staadthafen on Lake Constanza

    or

    Waldegg in Teufen, Gäbris, Hohe Buche in Speicher/Bühler

    To go trekking, Seealpsee is a must

  5. St. Gallen region is like, if it’s not going up it goes down. So yeah, a bike tour without climbing is hard to realize.
