It’s bad enough we have to hear him don’t make us look at him as well
Generic music-by-numbers drivel
Will you throw a poddy on the day he dies OP?
Their constant playing of Coldplay despite them not having a song in years drives me daft. I’m convinced Chris Martin has shares in today fm.
He’s a Leadbelly tribute act. State of him.
A 4 year old would write better lyrics than this absolute dunce.
It’s fucking insane. I work 12 hour shifts, and we have no other choice but to listen to Today FM… Heard this shite song twice in the space of an hour last week.
I like George Ezra but fuck this song, so sick of it. An artist like him you can’t listen to too much, or at all but if you fancy something completely unimposing and catchy then yeah stick on a bit of George. Then stop.
It’s a total rip of the mighty quinn by Bob Dylan
George Ezra is a psyop, making pop songs that sound like playschool rhymes/Barney songs to mentally pull the masses back to childhood so they’re easier to control
To think, nearly 30 years ago they gave 2 Unlimited shit for the lyrics of “No limits”
Listening to Today FM reminds me of how the US government blasted shitty music at Guantanamo Bay to torture the prisoners
Hate it. Even the hosts hate it. Brendan from big breakfast couldn’t hold his tongue when it came on for the first time.
Today FM is nothing but cringe between 8am and 4pm or whenever Matt Cooper stars
Every George Ezra song feels like it was made by an algorithm designed to create the most generic radio friendly song in existence.
Fuck that shit…BBC6 all day long bro

Can we talk about how punchable his face is?
Just don’t listen to today fm.
I like George Ezra as a person, but fucking hell, the man is a war criminal on the radio for overplayed songs.
They’re just such boring songs too. Shotgun, and now this. Both songs are lyrically on the spectrum.
Notable points in his songs: Grass is green. Sky is blue. I’m in a car with 4 people. Cars go forward.
I mean, Jesus Christ guy.
Heard something great they do in local radio stations in US. When a song deemed overplayed, they physically take the record and blow it up outside to symbolise its end of airtime. Prime candidate here
Yeah I’m sick of hearing it 30 times a day 7 days a week, I wouldn’t even listen to my favourite songs that much voluntarily
It’s grand. George Ezra is summer Michael Bublé, they will be putting him back in the attic next week.
His music is what resonates throughout hell.
I’ve listened to today for everyday 9_5 Monday to Friday for the last six years. Its tune in the background in work and there’s war anytime someone attempted to change it so that’s the way the factory runs. Its easier not to rock the boat.
So I consider myself a bit of a today fm nerd.
It’s such shite. I’ve embraced the shiteness tho. Any time George comes on I emphasise how much I like his songs and and start humming and singing little bits.
It drives my colleagues mental!! Today fm is driving them loco and every so often I get to compound that feeling. It happens minimum twice a day that I get an opertunity to pull it off.
It’s the little things that would keep ya going in a factory.
I’m down to just outright ban George Ezra.
One of the Spin DJ’s called this “an absolute banger” a few weeks ago
I strongly agree!!!
Sure, more Ed Sheeran it is
You guys still listen to radio?
Get with the times
Today FM have some good hosts but they literally play the same handful of songs each time a new show starts. They booted Anton Savage off the air then when he was unhappy having to play the same music on repeat every day
I work in a factory with multiple radio stations playing(Todayfm, 2fm and a local one) at once, so I often hear this song 2-3 times in a row.
makes me wanna jump off a tall tall bridge. this and all other bland ass shite that plays in my job. just music that feels like it’s engineered specifically to piss me off

Fuckin state of that Kim Jong-un haircut.
Agreed.

Who still listens to the radio for music?
