Prince William tweets on online safety after Molly Russell inquest

  1. Royal family taking advantage of a tragedy to push for more censorship and control of the masses.

Which only benefits the facebook empire (it is what their lapdog (nick clegg) has been lobbying for for years)

  2. Well, someone he pays to tweet did it.

This is 100% going to lead to censorship of social media. Which, ironically, will make it harder for people who want help to find it.

  3. Parents are the ones dropping the ball. They have their brats on Ipads from the age of 3 but absolve themselves of any responsibility when their unbridled access to the internet causes problems. It’s the responsibility of the parents, nobody else, to protect their kids.

The government aren’t our parents. They don’t rule us. And this bald twat certainly doesn’t rule us. Adults don’t need to be kept ‘safe’ online. Switch it off if you feel uncomfortable. Don’t share personal info if you can’t handle mean messages. It’s all within your control. If you’re thin skinned, don’t use social media.

Protect your own kids. It’s **your** job. Every inch of ground you cede to the government in this regard is a major mistake. You will regret it. They have no interest in keeping anyone safe, they just want to control what you can see and read online.

  4. Shouldn’t it read “Someone tweets about online safety to make it look like Tim nice but dim has”?

  5. what everybody seems to be missing her Parents should have been controlling her internet usage at 14 I did with my children check the phone’s every week see what they were doing quite simple really, she probably would also have committed suicide, without looking at the internet
