  1. Remember the story that ofwat said the network loses billions of ltrs A DAY?

Prob nothing though, let your garden die and go and buy overpriced food that is def only now expensive cos of the war.

Oh this butter and milk is local? Awesome, why is it 20% more expensive cos a bad man started a war.

Oh fuel is mad expensive cos of the war? But isnt 70% of it tax? And if energy is that expensive why are the companies making massive profits that they keep?

Cost of living crisis when many people saved lots of money over covid and got used to working from home? Now you dont want to go back? Well now you cant afford to heat your home. Guess what though, theres a nice warm office for you.

Dont ask questions peasant, be poor and quiet and hate your neighbour for being on benefits.

  2. But it’s raining! /s

Honestly though, at what point should people reduce the amount they pay for their water. If I pay for x speed internet and I get a lower amount, normally the company gives you a discount until they fix it.

There needs to be the same approach to water. Slap me with a hosepipe ban, take 50%-75% off the bill until the supply is fixed. Whatever that looks like is on the water companies.

  3. Due to climate change, 2022 was probably the coolest summer you will experience for the rest of your life.

    Just let that sink in.

And what is the Tory response? More fracking.

You **literally** could not make this up.

  4. The drought is permanent friends… here are the best places to survive in the latter 1/2 of 21st century with infrastructure, stable governance and reliable rain yr round.

-NE Canada & US, particularly from Newfoundland, to Massachusetts
-Around the Great Lakes in Canada and US, particularly Michigan, Upstate NY and Ontario
    -Iceland
-The Western coast of Norway, north of Trondheim
    -Northern Poland (Warsaw north)
    -Svalbard?

*** of note, above locations are only safe if AMOC does not completely halt.

    -Alaska, between Haines and Anchorage
    -Japan’s main Island
    -New Zealand’s North Island
    -Southern Patagonia (Chile and Argentina)

And that’s just about it for places we might be able to safely go (barring fundemental changes in Russia)
