  1. To defend the Danes, Denmark is entirely flat and indefensible, while Luxembourg was founded as a fortress (edit: due to it’s somewhat defensible geography).

  2. Interestingly enough, if I’m getting my facts right. During WWI the Kaiser stationed hisself in Luxembourg (Troisvierges if I remember correctly) He promptly left soon after due to the insubordination of the Luxembourgish people.

  3. I always knew it was 2 days? And by the way, when the nazis tried the usual “referendum” bullshit, the Luxembourgers lifted a gigantic middle finger and votes to, well, *remain as they are*. Hats off!

  4. And in WWI we told the Germans that they were a day early. They turned around and came back the following day.
