I have a long commute, so any additional day working from home is a big fuel saving for me, outweighing any heating or power costs. I currently WFH 1 day a week, but that could often be four, based on projects.
It’s just presenteeism amongst senior management. As someone with a long previous history of WFH (10 years), I know the people who don’t work at home, a the same ones you already know don’t work onsite.
‘Right *to request’*. Mícheál won’t be calling out *that* double-think anytime soon.
Absolutely correct move to tone down the legislation. It was so pro-employer that it read like it was written by an AI that could only listen to Newstalk.
