Sånt skjer når amerikanerne faller for sin egen propaganda
Did you eat the onion?
I’m an American and would be in Norway in a heart beat if I could. I lived there for a couple of years and loved that socialist hell!
I would happily immigrate and live in Norway, I just don’t know how much of the population speaks English and I would need to find a job there, and find a place to live.
Uffda…cringe on multiple fronts. I’ve never heard any American no matter what their politics say they’re thankful they don’t live in Norway…
Is this an Onion headline?
I was just ab to cross post this to here when I saw ir on r/memes but I didnt know if there was a satire tag

From the satire site this picture was posted:
> Anthem Insurance CEO gets paid $15.5 million a year.
The boss of the Norwegian National Health Insurance system gets $0.213 million a year.
I live in Norway and it’s so awful here im crippled by taxes and i have no freedom.
No wait it’s fucking great here and i probably have more freedom than the people who shout about socialism…
And Norway is’nt socialist..
Aren’t they capitalist, but with universal healthcare and government funded programs? You know, the best system?
As an American I would sell a kidney to live in Norway
That sounds like the onion
Fargegadå!
The things is, the US doesn’t even have much lower taxes than most “high tax” European countries. I think the average income tax in the US is 28% at the federal level. But then , because of the federal system, the US has state taxes in most states, which add another 5-10%. Moreover, everyone pays payroll tax (essentially social security) which is 12% (6 each for the worker and the employer, but guess what, the employer isn’t drawing down their profits to pay your payroll tax). So, we’re talking north of 40% tax in the US. I don’t know what property taxes in Norway are, but in the US they can be in the tens of thousands per year. But nothing comes from any of these in the US.

This is so cringe. America is home to many of the top 25 hospitals in the world. Norway doesn’t even have 1 in top 25
If I could afford that I would gladly pay $1000 a day to be in that Socialist hell
Edit: $10,000
I’m American, but I was an exchange student in Norway. In that short time I fell in love with the country… I miss it so much, especially in comparison to the USA.
Glad for at sykehus regningene våre ikke er så høye!
