If only these guys had fought as hard about
– ANPR camera’s
– fingerprints on eID
– banks having to share your financial info with NBB
– etc
I think there definitely is a case to be made on a privacy level. We need an independent watchdog to keep an eye on these sorts of technologies so that they are not to be abused. That said, I also think it’s a great way to keep things open as much as possible under the current circumstances. Being in favor of it doesn’t mean you are ignorant to its downsides.
I wouldn’t mind so much if it wasn’t for the slight tendency of temporary measures to become permanent. Having to show private medical data at every door feels quite dystopian. And all this because of that (relatively) small group of idiots who refuse the vaccines.
Oh fucking hell.
Ik word daar dus echt raastig van. Ik mag als risicopatiënt doodvallen omdat zij dat niet vinden kunnen volgens ‘privacywetgeving’. Uw privacy belangrijker dan mijn gezondheid?
Ik ben geen egoïstisch persoon, maar ik vind dat iedereen wel wat moeite mag doen om elkaar te beschermen.
En ja, ik besef dat het CST geen 100% zekerheid biedt, vaccins doen dat niet, en dat is net waarom we nog altijd voorzichtig moeten zijn voor de kwestbaren. En waarschijnlijk gaat deze zever ook helemaal niet om privacy, maar om andere domme antivax ideeën.
Allez, gelukkig is de grote meerderheid wel gevaccineerd en voorzichtig, en aan die mensen een welgemeende merci.
