This is 70% of people in NI and no fcuks are given, £100, that wouldn’t do 2/3 weeks
Hard to feel sorry for people in an area which votes overwhelmingly for the tories.
In 2019 they saw kids going to bed in their coats and hungry on national television and they didn’t care so why should anyone care about them?
They got what they voted for.
Why can’t the devolved administration do something to help? Oh, some people still holding the whole place to ransom?
“Have you tried not being poor, or making more money?”
– Tories
I’d say “modernize your property where possible” but that’s really expensive and contractors prices are going up (who also need to make a living)
My cousin is experiencing this- bought a viccy terrace no CH, no DG because she “didn’t grow up with CH” and “likes the original features”. After years of high electric bills and getting older & colder the idea of installing CH has been flirted with but the 8k she estimated? Lol. Try 15k.
If his energy bill has only gone up by 50%, he is doing better than most of us.
Aussie here who has only ever had electricity, no oil or gas, is heating with an electric heater a problem or way more expensive? Or is there some other variable i don’t understand? Thanks.
