Utter travesty, beating someone with a baton whilst they’re on the floor being tasered? I hope his death haunts her for the rest of her life, it’s the only repercussion she’ll face by the looks of it.

Well of course, no other outcome was ever happening.
I am still rather surprised by the relative lack of coverage this story received. Dalian wasn’t a household name, but he was a successful enough footballer that I’m surprised his death in such a fashion didn’t get far more attention, especially in the British football world.
Mental the other guy got done for manslaughter for helping beat him to death and she walks.
I find it so, so bizarre that cases like Chris Kaba or Mark Duggan have become such high profile rallying cries for the British BLM movement, yet this case comparatively has been relatively ignored.
Atkinson was a bit of a Premier League legend, and you’d be hard pressed to find a list of ‘Greatest Goals of All Time’ that didn’t see his incredible solo effort for Villa in the top 20.
I just don’t get how these movements sprung up to honour and argue for gangsters, has completely ignored Atkinson. Why? Because it was a police tasering, not a gun shot that killed him?
Another reminder to POC’s that your life isn’t valued like the others, what a shame
