“People used anything to attack me”: Interview with Jeremy Corbyn | Novara Media

  1. He was attacked for wearing a tie

    A. Fucking. Tie

I genuinely can’t get over how hated this man was by the establishment, hilarious and sad

  2. Was happy to give people ammunition to use against him too with plenty of own goals where he could have had easy wins but chose to snatch defeat instead.

  3. “How dare people use what I said, wrote or did to attack me!”

The sooner this guy retires to his allotment, the better.

  4. Well, you did make yourself incredibly easy to attack.

So many stupid things said and done from him. It is insane he and his supporters don’t seem to understand there were a fuck load of valid reasons to dislike Corbyn.

  5. My favourite Corbyn moment was when he criticised Ukraine for “provoking” Russia.

Or actually it might be his Brexit policy: to scrap the negotiated deal (which had taken 3 years), renegotiate it from scratch, then hold a referendum under which they would campaign against their own deal.

There’s just so many to choose from.

  6. While I agree with him on this, ultimately it was his failure to address antisemitism in the Labour party that ended his leadership.

His inability to recognize that and own up to it is poor form.

  7. The most nonsensical of all tankies. Can’t even admit out loud that he hates the west and loves Russia and China. I would have more respect for him if he just outright admitted where his real loyalties lie.

  8. The problem with Corbyn was that for a politician he wasn’t very good at the politics thing.

It’s a dirty game and if you are going to take the moral high ground you are just giving your opponents ammunition.

  9. Its brought me right back to the “present but not involved” thing

Proper belly laughs on a dreary lunchtime

  10. No apology for getting the Labour Party investigated by the Equality and Human Rights Commission for anti-Semitism I notice. Farewell Jeremy but we’re managing beautifully without you #17pointsahead

  11. It’s hilarious that people on Reddit accuse this sub of being “left wing.” This thread is like the Daily Mail comments section.

  12. So backing Russia, getting a dressing down from the human rights committee and suspended by his own party. And if I remember holding fake Russian papers claiming boris will sell the nhs to trump.

Labour is in a much better stance now

  13. Cometh the hour, cometh the man…

He did this country a great service by destroying the Labour party and all political opposition at a time when the tories were otherwise unelectable.

  14. Genuine question, are there any youtube channels that does what novara, robiespere etc. does – but from a more centre ground perspective?

  15. He would have been a *terrible* pm but like a decent chancellor or a good treasury secretary looking at his domestic vs foreign policy proposals
