Putin’s annexation fixation is leaving Russian troops vulnerable to a “turkey shoot” in Kherson area

  1. “Russian President Vladimir Putin is loath to give up the city of Kherson, and his reluctance to order a withdrawal defies military logic and could lead to the loss of many of Russia’s best troops..”

  2. He kind of reminds me of another dictator who didn’t allow strategic retreats and didn’t listen to his generals…

He ended up losing the war.

  3. Putin has abandoned his own troops. He knows he lost the war but he won’t order a retreat because then he would be admitting defeat, and he would never ever do that. He would rather have his own troops be killed in combat absolutely pointlessly, while screaming that he’s winning, and then after Ukraine takes back Crimeea itself, he will feign shock and surprise at the…incompetence of his own generals, then some planned suicides will follow, and the world will move on.

This is how the war in Ukraine ends. It has already started to end.
