would you support the introduction of the kilt as informal and everyday wear in ireland? as connected to its Celtic and Gaelic history

  1. It’s not really connected to Celtic or Gaelic history is it? It was adopted by some somewhat outlier nationalists to try and forge a more separate identity from the English. Only pipe bands kept it up in any serious way. It’s not an genuine part of our culture.

  2. Will you be quite. Don’t you know the Kilt is a joke the other nations on these islands played on the Scots. Sort of a you do it first and we’ll all follow you sort of thing.

  3. Sure give it a whirl, but your legs may need to be hardy to keep warm in these months. I prefer it for ceremonial purposes.
