Hi everyone!, I visited Copenhagen a few days ago, and i bought this postal in a street market, i thought i could translate by myself but my danish is pretty bad and the handwriting complicates it even more.
I was hoping someone here could translate it to english (or maybe just write in danish so i could paste it in a translator).
Im kinda new posting in reddit (despite of being in reddit for a while now), and I don’t know exactly how to post the photo and the text at the same time).
Dear Sister and brother-in-law –
Congratulations on your little Knud. I would have liked to have sent a small thing [gift] for him, but I haven’t heard anything about whether you received the last package I sent for Rudt’s birthday and I’m not too hot on sending something again, kindly remember this. Warmest regards to you all. I’ll come for coffee, I assume we’ll get some coffee music. I still recall the melody. Once more, congratulations.
– your Anna

Dear Sister and Brother-in-law
Congratulations with your little Knud [boys’ name] I wanted to send a little something but [since] I haven’t heard if you received the last package I sent for Rudt’s [? some name] birthday I am not too keen on sending another please remember this kind regards to you all I’ll stop by for coffee we’ll surely have some coffee music I still remember the melody once again congratulations your Anna
My best guess in Danish – but whoever wrote this didn’t use any punctuations… So it’s kinda messy:

My best translation in English (with my interpreted punctuations):
“Dear Sister and Brother in Law
Congratulations on your little Knud (son). I would have sent a small present for him, but I haven’t heard if you have received the package/present I sent for Rudt’s birthday. I’m not too keen on sending something again, remember that. Kind regards to you all. I’m coming over for coffee, perhaps we will have some coffee music, I remember the tune. Yet again, congratulations. Yours, Anna. ”
Part of the difficulty is that the postcard is likely 100 years or more old, so the spelling is different and some of the words, like “eder” is no longer in general use. At the same time the person writing doesn’t seem very strong at punctuation and some of the letters are not clearly written. So no wonder it was difficult
