Man, how I would love to live in a live-laugh-love world where I relate to any of this, where all parents are loving and infallible and all teenagers are stupid and lazy and domestic abuse doesn’t exist.
I moved out at 18, still in my school uniform and it was the best thing I ever did. Maybe I should buy myself this sign as an ironic reminder of how extraordinary it was that I survived alone.
