People have been kicked out of housings they have been born in, to make room for you. Traditional family businesses were transformed into shops for your need to purchase stuff that little no use for those who live here. We leave Parque Guell, Rambla, Barrio Gótico and Born at your disposal, please enjoy, there is little reason for us to go there anymore, they density of people makes it feel like occupied territory; imagine all those visitors were lost in the streets of your home, standing around and running over you. But all that doesn’t matter, we have made our choices; tourism is our bet for financing the local economy and we stand by it, making those sacrifices because we need to eat and pay our rent (that in a strange way is rising and rising since our arrival, but that’s another story). So, thank you again for enjoying your stay with us, come back soon and bring your friends so that you are spending more money with us, we really really need that.
