But could someone better informed let me know if judge Nolan just seems to get more attention for the same lenient sentencing that most judges give or is he an outlier in terms of giving light sentences for crimes that tend to catch the public eye?

Wonder why theres so many scumbags in the country justice system is a fucking joke. You can arrested and done for smoking a plant but you can can fuck in front of the dart and get nothing for it……
If this person reoffends the judge should share responsiblity. You don’t let a rabid dog off its leash, unless youre judge Nolan.
Keeping that thug on the streets ensures at least another €100k or more in legal fees for the justice industry in repeat offences.
Can someone bring this judge into a first year law degree so he can learn ignorance is not a defence… Not intending to cause her to fall between a platform and a FUCKING TRAIN doesn’t ignore the fact he intended to disrupt her movement with the likelihood of tripping her.
Currently awaiting a case after somebody tried to rob me and then followed me with a knife while they were on probation. They had over 159 prior convictions at the time of the attack with many for assault and robbery and I was told I could expect them to receive suspended sentence so I wouldn’t be disappointed at the outcome. Detectives told me judges keep giving these people a break and they spend more hours putting the cases together than the person sometimes receives in the judicial system.
I’d love to see the sentencing if judge Nolan got assaulted
