  1. Is “seriously injured” a defined thing? does it have to meet a certain threshold? I didn’t see a description of any injury in the article.

  2. Why are they protesting something that has nothing to do with this government? What exactly are they trying to achieve here?

Just injuring officers for no reason apparently

  3. Why TF are they attacking UK police?

I’m getting tired of subsidising other countries problems when we have so many of our ow

  4. One of the protester started punching his own head after getting push back by the police you can see it in the video. What the fuck

  5. Why the fuck are people protesting here?! The UK and Iran aren’t exactly friendly and they’re subject to sanctions already, so what’s the goal here? What *exactly* are we supposed to do?

  6. A few years ago I remember police stating so many cops were injured at a protest. It turned out to be bee stings and tripping over. I wonder if there’s a list of how these injuries occurred in this instance.

  7. if they’re that pissed in London imagine what’s going on in Iran.
Hopefully they’ll get the revolution needed to overturn the regime and get back to some form of democracy.

  8. Women’s right to live is being revoked in yet another country within the last 12 months and people in this sub don’t think it’s relevant to the people of the UK…. And that we’re “importing problems”

    Pathetic and insensitive

  9. Love how the comments are “What does this have to do with us” when it was the UK that overthrew the democratically elected government in Iran just a few decades ago which led to this shit.

If you follow the trail for why Iran is in this mess, you won’t find yourself far from Westminster.

  10. Every country is required by international law to protect other countries embassies regardless of what kind of terms the two countries governments are on.

The Met are doing their job as is required.

As for the protestors… protests outside embassies are nothing new.

  11. Protest outside fine, I fully support that. Don’t seriously injure British police because they are stopping you from damaging/attacking/storming Irans Embassy. People are not going to be on board with that.

  12. How did this peacefull protest turn into a riot, did protesters realy just start attacking police officers on site or is there more to this.

  13. How on earth has a protest about a girl in Iran ended up in British police officers being seriously injured. I don’t get what these protests will achieve.

  14. I protested in front of the pakistani embassy back in august or sept when the afghan government collapsed, the police were really nice and didn’t do anything apart from just forming a line in front of us so no one goes in. Violent protest is violent not an excuse for violence especially when even the police officers personally support the protests like in the Iranian case.

  15. For the love of all that is in his majesty’s name please do your research don’t rely on shit rags before you comment or at the very least ready the bloody article. have a great day all !

  16. Bro we can’t solve their problems what do they want

edit: not trying to be ignorant, I just don’t Get what are we able to do about it, we can advise the Iranian government but the uk government can’t force it onto them
