Sure you can enjoy the OS or the characteristics, but it really comes down to showing off personal wealth. What is the point of buying iOS when you can buy the same or BETTER for half the price OR LESS? I never understood.

We mostly do not see logical purpose to buy Iphone, for that price they do not offer nothing spectacular. We are conscious consumers at least in this specific matter.
There’s no point whatsoever in buying anything from Apple, if you can have the same or better for 1/3 of the price. It’s that simple. In Poland iPhone is used for show-off mainly.

Haven’t read all comments, but one could safely assume that sole factor taken into account in comments is price. No mention of functionality, safety or last but not least aesthetics.
I for one hated Android design since Material stuff (of course this is one of many reasons I switched to iPhone, excluding showing off – I’m too old for it). The only Android phone that I liked visually was HTC M7 (but it had so crazy poor camera).
But actually what bothers me is following question: for most of Poles design, power, aesthetics factors are obvious when discussing cars (of course price _being_ one of factors as well). Why your approach is so much different in case of smartphones?

That’s a very delicate subject in Poland. Most people in Poland have almost zero financial literacy and if you add iPhones to the discussion it becomes a mess very quickly 😀
People will write tons of comments about price/value ratios and how other brands are better (to which I agree in most cases, especially in low-mid tier phones) meanwhile most Poles (outside of major cities) have taken a loan to get 50-80 inch screen TV and pay 20-40 Euro per month to watch TVP/TVN and drink beer in front of it.
I wish people just stop giving a fuck what anybody is using rather than reading autistic screeches of “iPhOnE bAd !!!!1111oneoneshifteleven”.

Price is to high to what the phones offers, i like the IOS and i find it to be better for me then Android but for the price of an iPhone i can get 4 mid range androids Phones. I currently use One Plus and it dose all the iphone dose but it cost me 1200 PLN compered to 6500 PLN.
Iphones in Poland cost about 150% to 200% of AVERAGE polish job income so unless u are rich or its an businesses phone We see little to no point of owning one unless you are trying to show off.

As a Pole living in Sweden I can confirm. Large percent of my Swedish friends have iPhones. While I know no one in Poland who actually uses them.

I think it’s because iPhones are really expensive compared to salaries (in zł) in Poland. Here in US everyone almost have it since you can get it $30/40 a month for two years.
We grow our own apples.
Poland is the land of cheaper chinese smartphones, if the quality is there for much smaller price people just go for it, very expensive brands of anything have it pretty rough here
