Kwak is gone on the abABinbev deathtrap.
In my memory a Kwak glassncomes with a woodzn standard….. I open my cupboard and it shows.
But Kwak is not red either….
It is gone, forget about it, move on to better beers.
The wooden ones are still for sale. But nowadays Kwak exists in red too. It’s just an average kriek, better stick to the amber one.
It has to sound Kwak when it’s half empty. That’s where the name comes from.
I never liked the traditional Kwak glass. Too much of a novelty thing. Great for tourists though.
Your Spar glass looks like a better alternative, if the glass is heavy enough. I’d give it a try. “Voordeel van de twijfel”.
It’s not just from Spar, it’s the new glass for all Kwak beers from the brewery. So it obviously counts as the correct glass for Kwak.
Was kinda hoping OP was going to pull out a heap of glass shard and then pour a kwak all over the pile.
Overmarketed trash
