Hi,
I want to get better control of my expenses and was thinking to use a tool like YNAB (https://www.youneedabudget.com/) or Tiller to track my expenses. None of the ones I found work with Belgian banks however, wondering if anyone knows of a solution?
Merci!

I use YNAB and import the CSV of my bank (Belfius).
I did write a script to convert the CSV in a way YNAB understands better.
Its not automatic but it saves me a lot of work and errors. I import about every 3-4 weeks.
Recently started using [moneywiz](https://www.wiz.money/) and quite like it.
Unfortunately the services they use to connect to banks analyze your data anonymously / in aggregate. This is sadly true for every one of these fintech apps. YNAB uses Plaid (for US banks), which has a bunch of ongoing privacy lawsuits.
I use Toshl, they support a lot of Belgian banks. You can check the list on their site https://toshl.com/bank-connections/
The syncing is a paid option, but you get a 30 day free trial to give it a try.
I used to use YNAB, but you can’t sync bank account and CSV files from my bank wouldn’t work without converting – was a hassle.
I also feel like new features are very focused for the American market. After they increased the price to almost 100 euro per year, without providing any new features I could use, I could no longer justify the cost and decided to ditch them.
