  1. The best thing that can happen to the tories is that they lose the next GE. They need a complete refresh with who is in the party. The barrel is so scraped there is nothing left.

I am sure the less insane members left realise they need a 1 or 2 cycles out of govt to wash out the Johnson apologists and those selected becuase they woudl swear fealty purely towards Johnsons Brexit stitch up.

They must realise they need to use those years to bring people more similar to the likes of Hammond, Clarke, Stewert etc more traditional tories who aren’t obviously completely insane.

  2. I really dont understand why we dont all call for GE now.

Even the tory party is being affected by her stupidity now.

Regardless of what they do, they will lose next GE anyway.

  3. The UK needs to follow the path of reality denial to its inevitable conclusion that started with the vote for Brexit. If you are determined that the experts don’t know what they are talking about and that the clowns with flags are the only ones you can trust, then it’s inevitable at some point that you are going to crash headfirst into that brick wall that they told you didn’t exist.

No doubt many will still be blaming the brick wall, but hopefully enough people will have some sense knocked into them that they will vote for reality, rather than fantasy.

  4. Wow the citizens and parties questioning how tax cuts will be paid for. Policy questions even being raised by members of her own party. Not just single minded following.

In the States one party just counters with “they will pay for themselves” and the other party gets distracted by whatever the latest outrage is on social media.

  5. She had it easy the first two weeks of her leadership, now the real challenge starts. Sadly, she could barely manage the mourning period well, now she is going to sink like the Titanic. She has tenuous support in the party and letters of no confidence are supposedly already coming in. What chances does she have if she cannot have at least one thing go very well for her soon? She is already hanging on for her life and the net few weeks will be crucial as they will define her career.

  6. Reality sets in after Queenie’s funeral.

I wonder why Liz Truss even wanted the captain this sinking ship anyway. Grandiose ambitions?

  7. Snakey sunak was the better pick of the them both I hate the Tory nonces but I reckon he’d have a far better handle on all of this. The dirty rat bastard.
